In the early 1990s, Mel and Mark, the founders of Conscious Coffees, embarked on their coffee journey as baristas in Colorado's Rocky Mountains. By 1996, armed with their roasting machine, a growing number of wholesale accounts, and innovative ideas on craft roasting, they ventured into refining their techniques. Through artistry and scientific expertise, they have developed a roasting process that has evolved from its humble beginnings of trial and error.
